Favorite Answer. a couple of different ways. if you have never been to darnassus, you can ride the boat from SW to Darkshore, then run all the way south into ashenvale, run through there and near the middle go north all the way through Fel Wood you will then have to take walk through the Timbermaw cave, and the other side is Winterspring.

Edit: When looking at the docks, the left ship does nothing, the middle ship goes to SW, the right ship goes to Azuremyst Island. The two functioning ships give a hint as well.
